From Minneapolis, MN., Lucille L. Majors was the daughter of Andrew and Ruth Majors. She graduated from North High School and received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota and her MSW from Boston College. She was married to Clyde M Anderson for five years. And together, they had two children. She worked as an assembly line worker at Honeywell Hospital, a maid, an elevator operator, and a nurse's aide for Hennepin County.
After moving east, she worked as a receptionist, a sickle cell counselor in Boston, a social worker, and a New York City probation officer. Lucille Anderson was 94 years old when she died from the COVID-19 virus in a nursing home on April 29, 2020.
