Amie Bramme Sey

Ami-Miriam "Amie" Bramme Sey was born in Stockholm and grew up in Södermalm as the daughter of Maudo Sey and sister of the singers Seinabo Sey (half-sister) and Fatima Bramme Sey. She has studied at Södertörn University. On Swedish Radio, she hosted the program Metropol with Amie on Metropol 93.8 and Kulturvalet, Sveriges Radio's cultural editorial initiative before the parliamentary elections in 2014.
Since 2015, she has been active at Aftonbladet on the radio program Aftonbladet Morgon, host of the Swedish Heroes Gala 2018, and since 2019 also as a columnist. Simultaneously she runs the podcast Raseriet together with her cousin Fanna Ndow Norrby. The two also starred in the documentary Amie & Fanna's strip trip on SVT (2018), where they travel around the US to interview young background women in hip-hop culture. In the 2017/18 season, Bramme Sey competed with Gunnar Bolin in Sveriges Televisions På spåret, where they came in second place. They also participated during the 2018/19 season.
In June 2018, Bramme Sey appeared in a commercial for Volvo. Together with David Sundin, she led the Guldbagge Gala 2021 on Swedish Television.
